Forward South Bronx Coalition is working closely with the 41 Police Precinct to insure compliance checks on local business that sell alcohol are being conducted on a fairly regular basis.  They are also issuing C-Summons to under age youth who are caught drinking or smoking marijuana.  This kind of collaborate effort with local law enforcement has proven to be invaluable.  We also have a close relationship with our local community board (Community Board-2) and the 41 Precinct Community Council.

We also conduct state-sanctioned alcohol training (ATAP – Alcohol Training Awareness Program) to those establishments that sell alcoholic beverages and desire information on how to serve these beverages in a proper, lawful manner.  Additionally, our coalition takes a hands on approach to the various initiatives and strategies that they help to devise.
